Here on Sandiegodslr.org in order to keep space managable and the layout somewhat straight, we are limiting picture size to 900px on the longest side.

When resized properly 900x pixels is more than adequet to repesent our work.

Winders Users: If you are not resizing within your editing software and need a free alternative; check out http://imageresizer.codeplex.com/ for nice resizers.

MacUsers if you know of a resizer please let us know.

Gallery Help

Minimize

As a Registered member you will have three icons in the toolbar above the gallery list.

  • Gallery - Will take you to the Gallery List.
  • My Work - Will take you to a list of images you have submitted to all albums in the gallery.
  • Upload - Will take you to an applet to upload photos to an album in the Gallery.

To Upload to an Album in the gallery, click on Upload in the toolbar.

The upload applet appears.

  1. Choose the Album you wish to upload from the Album list dropdown.
  2. Click on the Add Files... button to select the files from your computer.

Once you have selected the files on your computer and hit Ok, the files will be in a waiting status.

Click on the Upload button to upload the files to the album.

Once the upload is completed, you will receive notification, Click OK.

Click on Gallery in the toolbar to return to the Gallery List.
